Regular or deep cleaning: what does your apartment need?
Two apartments of the same size can need very different work. One has fresh dust and footprints; another has a kitchen that has not had thorough attention for months. Choose the service by the condition of your home and the result you need.
When regular cleaning is enough
Regular cleaning maintains a home that is already looked after. It focuses on accessible surfaces, floors, the kitchen and bathroom. It suits everyday marks before they become a separate, more demanding task.
Look around in daylight. Light dust on shelves and footprints are different from persistent build-up. Also remember that a recurring visit does not automatically include the insides of every appliance and cupboard.
- The apartment is maintained between visits.
- Surfaces are accessible.
- There are no large areas of stubborn build-up needing a separate discussion.
When to choose deep cleaning
Deep cleaning makes sense when routine attention is no longer enough. Cleaning may have been postponed, the kitchen and bathroom may need more work, or you may want a thorough reset before arranging regular visits.
The time since the last clean is only one clue. Frequent cooking and pets also affect the work involved. Check kitchen fronts, bathroom fittings and corners you tend to skip. Specific observations are more useful than simply describing the home as very dirty.
Deep cleaning does not mean every possible task
LumaClean lists windows, the balcony, and the insides of the oven, fridge and cupboards as additional tasks. Mention them in advance, including when booking deep cleaning. Post-renovation cleaning, mould removal and flood recovery are not available service formats.
A more expensive base service is not necessary just because you want an oven cleaned. Regular cleaning with the relevant extra may suit your needs. Equally, a few extras cannot substitute for the right base service if the whole apartment needs more thorough attention.
How to describe what you need
Include the floor area, Belgrade neighbourhood, when the apartment was last cleaned and your main priorities. List windows, appliances and internal shelves separately. If you are moving in or out, say so: there is a dedicated moving service.
You do not have to identify the exact category yourself. A message such as «We keep up with the floors, but the kitchen needs attention, and we would like the oven cleaned inside» gives a useful starting point. The scope and price are agreed before work starts.
